Phu Chi Fa is not one of the largest peaks in Northern Thailand but its remote location, winding approach roads, and final spectacular view make it a trek worth making, especially for sunrises, as the mountains change backdrops of colors as time ticks.
Thailand isn’t exactly known for its cherry trees, but you can see cherry trees in bloom in the north of Thailand if you come to Chiang Mai in winter.

Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in southeast Thailand. It is the fifth Thailand’s biggest island. Koh Phangan is the home of the largest beach party in Thailand, known as the Full Moon party, which is tied to the lunar calendar.

Pai, just a few hours outside of Thailand’s second biggest city, Chiang Mai, is a hippie oasis. You will find a lot of cozy hippie style bars, organic food restaurants, and yoga classes while visiting Pai. The city itself is nice, but there are a lot of worth-visiting places around as well.
Searching for a perfect escape in Thailand, near Bangkok? We did so too and found Koh Samet (Samed island), which is a perfect place for those, who are searching for tranquil beaches to relax.
At the very beginning, we found Thai cuisine to be very spicy, but full of different taste at the same time: sweet, sour, a little bit salty and full of spicy flavors.
Chili pepper, coconut milk, rice and sugar are the most common ingredients in Thai meals.
What happened after moving to Thailand? A lot! Here I share some of the discoveries that we have found so far at our stay in Thailand.
During the time spent in Chiang Mai, we were exploring the city and the areas around it, like Doi Suthep National Park. Once we met a bull in the middle of the street near our first apartment, twice we unexpectedly saw an elephant walking down the mountain road. We have spent some time trekking in the wild jungle, but first, and yet the only, time I saw a snake which was in the city near the hotel we stayed.
Moreover, I was surprised by the thousands of smiles, the incredible taste of fruits, shakes and the local dishes. At first, some of the Thai meals were too spicy for me, but got used to it by now.

I forgot that summer could end, a small lizard lives in my balcony and each day I wear a helmet and ride a motorbike and… eat rice. That’s just a small piece of all the changes after leaving Lithuania and moving to Thailand, Chiang Mai.
As you could guess, I had some dreams about never-ending summer, but I didn’t have a plan to live like that – it just happened. Big thanks for my beloved man and his joke, which had an exotic ending.
